For two months we had worked with the FERMA team on a new brand positioning, and had just moved to the creation of the new brand identity. Then came the invitation to pitch the visual identity of the biennial International Forum that the association promotes among its members.
We were glad to be invited. Two agencies that had already worked with the client were in the running as well. The new tone of voice we had developed called for an approach consistent with the mother brand, so we proposed an identity with a solid stylistic link to the logo that was about to be announced.

The key element is the dot, the basis of the network concept: individuals connected, moving in unison to form an organic whole. It is also what sits at the heart of the association’s positioning. For the Forum we gave it a more dynamic twist, a hyperbola extending three-dimensionally into space, set in a dynamic typeface that looks ahead.

We carried the dotted sign through every key element, to show how consistent and organic the system is. The dot texture reached all the materials at the venue: banners, flags, panels, domes with rounded textures, brochures, save-the-date flyers, and the logo animations for the website and the video screens.

The logo in motion for the website and the screens, and the film that wraps up the event identity.
